TTI Linear Seam Welders: Ready for FSW Production
The LS welders from TTI are designed to be robust, easily maintained production tools. Versatile design allows welding of any linear seam. Plates and extrusions for truck, rail car, ship decks, and aircraft floors are some of the potential applications.
The LS-80 Shown above is able to weld the linear seams on cylindrical components with diameters of 1300mm (52") or larger. Applications include rocket bodies, and cylindrical tanks.

Various configurations are available to best suit any production need. Shown here, the LS-240 features 6m (240") of welding stroke and an optional Y-axis runout table. In this configuration, the product is set up for performing multiple welds in a single setup as needed for welding stiffeners onto flat deck surfaces. |

Using a modular base design, the LS-I Machine can be built for as much X-axis stroke as needed. Individual panels are added one at a time, to allow decks of any desired width to be created. |
